Send the drawing. We will match it.
This is the whole of our offer, stated plainly: you define the liner on your drawing, we cast to it, and we give you the documents to prove the casting matches.
What changes when the drawing is yours
You keep control of the specification
The liner is defined by your drawing, not by a supplier catalogue or a proprietary standard. You own the design; we own the execution.
Manufacturing precision is the product
Everything in our plant is organised around one question: does this casting match the drawing it was ordered from?
Replacement without redesign
Because we cast to your drawing rather than to our own pattern library, the liner drops into the position it was made for.
Four steps, no ambiguity about who does what
Submit your drawing or worn sample
Use the quote form to upload DWG, PDF or STEP files — several files per enquiry are fine. If you only have a worn liner, send it to us, or send photographs with key measurements.
Technical review and quotation
We examine the drawing for castability, confirm the material grade, check pattern availability, and come back with a firm quotation and a written lead time. If something in the drawing needs clarification, we ask before quoting rather than after.
Pattern, casting and heat treatment
Patterns are made with the correct shrinkage allowance for the grade. Metal is melted, verified by spectrometer, poured, and heat treated with a recorded cycle. Samples and progress photographs are available during production.
Inspection, documentation and shipment
Finished liners are measured against your drawing. The inspection report, chemistry and hardness records travel with the order. We ship FOB or CIF, crated and blocked for ocean freight, with loading photographs before the container is sealed.
A short checklist before you write to us
Required — we cannot quote without these
- Drawing: DWG, PDF or STEP (2D or 3D both work)
- Part name or position in the mill
- Quantity required
- Material grade and hardness, if already specified
- Bolt hole size and pattern, if not shown clearly on the drawing
Helpful — improves the quotation
- Mill make, model and diameter
- Wear life you currently get from the part (hours or tonnes)
- How the present liner fails — cracking, thin wear, breakage
- Whether you need a full set or part set
- Delivery port and required Incoterms
- Any restriction on single piece weight for handling
The standards behind the castings
We would rather state the standards up front than have a tolerance argument after delivery.
| Item | Standard applied | Typical value |
|---|---|---|
| As-cast dimensions | ISO 8062 / GB-T 6414 | Grade D1 or as agreed on the drawing |
| Machined faces | Drawing tolerance | Typically ±0.5 mm |
| Bolt hole position | Drawing tolerance | ±1.5 mm |
| Bore and bore concentricity | Drawing tolerance | Per drawing, verified on inspection |
| Wall thickness variation | Drawing requirement | Controlled by pattern and moulding practice |
| Surface finish, machined | Drawing requirement | Typically Ra 12.5 or as specified |
Working from a worn part
No drawing? We can work from the worn part
Plenty of mills are running equipment where the drawings disappeared years ago. You do not have to reverse engineer it yourself.
Send the worn liner or a measurement set
A physical sample is best. If shipping is impractical, photographs plus the key dimensions listed in our checklist are usually enough to work from.
We produce a drawing for your approval
Dimensions are derived from the sample, adjusted for the wear you have already lost so the new casting matches the original section. The drawing is yours to approve — nothing is cast until you do.
We cast to the approved drawing
From that point the job is a standard build-to-drawing order, with the same inspection documentation.

Before you send the first drawing
What if my drawing is in inches, not millimetres?
Send it as it is. We work in both systems and will quote to your drawing units — you do not need to redraw anything.
Can you sign an NDA before I send the drawing?
Yes, and we would prefer to. Send us your NDA or ask for ours, and we will return a signed copy before any file is exchanged.
Do you charge for quotation or drawing review?
No. Reviewing your drawing and quoting is free and carries no obligation. Pattern cost is quoted separately and only charged if you place the order.
How do I know the casting really matches the drawing?
You receive a dimensional inspection report with the order, tied to the heat number marked on each casting. If you want to verify independently, you are welcome to arrange third-party inspection before shipment.
Can I order a single liner as a trial before committing to a full set?
Yes. A trial piece is a reasonable way to test both our casting quality and our documentation. The only consideration is pattern cost on a small quantity.
Ready to send your drawing?
Upload DWG, PDF or STEP files. You will get a technical review and a firm quotation within 24 hours — with a lead time we will hold to.
